How to use this calculator:

đą How to Use This App
- Search: Go to the "Search" tab to find traffic offences by code or name.
- Add: Click the "Add" button next to the offences you have committed.
- Calculate: Return to the "Calculator" tab. The app automatically applies the "Highest Range" rule to estimate your points.
đŽââī¸ Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN)
If you commit an offence carrying penalty points:
- You will receive Part A & Part B of the FPN. Part A: Offender signs to acknowledge receipt of the notice. Must be presented together with Part B at payment. and Part B: Completed later by the Court officer and offender at the time of fine payment.
- Police Officer records the lowest points for the offence in the FPN.
đ° Payment & Deadlines
- Time Limit: You must pay within 28 days of the offence date.
- Where: Pay at the appropriate District Court.
- Documents Required:
- FPN Part A & Part B
- Original National Identity Card (NIC)
- Original Driving Licence
â ī¸ Understanding the Rules
- Multiple Offences: If you commit multiple offences at once, you pay all fines, but points are calculated based on the "Highest Range" rule (we calculate this for you automatically).
- Disqualification: If you accumulate 15 points or more, your license may be suspended.
- > 3 Offences: If more than 3 offences are detected, multiple FPN booklets will be used.
